J.Brown hitting early form!
2 games, 2 great scores! Possibly due to fev taking some attention away from him?
I think you can throw away that 'slow start' tag now lol!
Wish i had him

I was contemplating trading gray for him this week. kept gray. might have to pull the trigger next week if he isn't playing. guess the brown-fev combo is turning out to be gold after all.

yep had him in from the the start.
A little bit of research showed that the last full pre season he had was in 2006. until he got injured in round 10 he averaged 140. hopefully the injury part isn't repeated.

Great call boys, Its funny no-one seems to look for Brown ahead of Roo, Pav and ROK, he seems to be a bit of a unique pick up front. I was expecting a slow start, will now have to wait for a bit of a form slump, hopefully!!! Im not gona blow trades to try and get him before his price rise. Need to be patient and give my forwards a chance!

Re: J.Brown hitting early form!
yeah basically figured that fev coming in would allow brownie to go up the field a bit more and also get less of a double team. Have a feeling he may not go down in price to much especially with this start, hopefully i'm right

Re: J.Brown hitting early form!
i reckon he`ll go bellow $480,000 eventually. Then i`ll upgrade Waite to him.

I see waite as a keeper, once he really finds his stride he will be hard to stop. I don't think Brown will drop below 500k this year, I am hoping so but it looks unlikely.

can't believe i went chappy over him. wasn't sure on chappy's spot to begin with in my team but couldn't argue that when he's on field, he is a gun.

early days dom, chappy is a quality player and once he has his few rounds on the sideline i'll be looking at picking him up at some stage. He is a gun

Re: J.Brown hitting early form!
Do you guys think its a good move, or too early, to trade Pav for Brown before Pav's price drops & Browns goes up?
I know trades are gold but I'm wanting to try & at least stay have a crack at staying near the front runners.

Re: J.Brown hitting early form!
hi skinky,
much depends on the structure of your team, hard to make that call alone, freo are playing well and pav will core well. JB has had a great start and may be a good swap for someone else? Just be carefull that you don't go trading for past points. Its a common mistake that people make.
if you're going for overall position then you need to score well early and that can mean burning trades and just holding on at the end.
trading 1 prem for another is a bit risky though. maybe upgrade a mid pricer who's not performing to him if you have the cash.
hard to know without your full team.

Hey Fatcat, thanks for the advice. Yeah i know it's risky & should learn from my mistakes from last year, trade Hille out for Ottens who then did his knee. After round one i was ranked 104th I'm now 724th with a couple of bad performances, anyway I might just have to wait & see with Pav, hopefully he'll bounce back this week
