Superroach League Division A.

First of all can i please ask Charlo to keep all "divi B" chat to a different thread

Some huge scores all over Australia this week and the Superroach Division A league is no exception. Resident guru "Fatcat" topped the table with a nice 2420 and the sneaky rat doesn't even have Ablett!! His side looks great and the only real "unique" pick that scored well for him was Scotty McMahon with a nice 109 in DEF.

Our league ranking is 72 and i expect that to climb as we build our sides, i am sure a few of us have guys like Buddy (i do), Mcveigh and even Gray sitting on the pine ready to come back this week at the sacrifice of someone like Gumby who will warm the bench this week. If i only i have put Barlow on the park instead of Trengove and didn't have Buddy warming the bench i would have given Fatcat a run. But then again if Grandma had balls she'd be Grandpa!

what an effort you guys . think the league can only get better. here's hoping fatcat can crack the top 100

had a few clanger kings down back for me in R. Shaw and Harbrow letting me down. 5 rookies on field didn't help either.

yes good effort by all. i've got another team in 3 other leagues and none of them had everyone over 2000.

early days but happy with the start 745 for first week is a nice one but given i started last year with a first round placing of 115,000 and finished 1500 not getting ahead of ourselves.

Very happy with Mcmahon, my other team has rhyce shaw in it and as a result only scored 2345. shuey starting instead of trengove would have given an extra 40 points.

Yes no ablett however i'm not stupid enough to think i don't need him by the end of the year. just thought this year especially he would start a little slower and have formulated the strategy to have him in there by year end. At this very early stage looks like Barlow is the main candidate to generate the cash to get GAJ.

However as we all know early days, and while most prem's scored big this week next week is another story. Good work by all.

Also just a note that I will be away for a month in may (on my honeymoon and thereby unable to look at it too much) therefore depending on match ups may be looking for someone to manage my team a little while i'm away. Will look at that at a closer date though

yes I had to create one team for this league as my other team was already in 3 leagues.

bar two players they're exactly the same - saves on admin.

I'm not one of those people with two teams in the one league - thats just cheating. I know people with 3-4 teams and they only play on league with each of them. Prevents them from having to sacrifice a round win in one to get one in another

Yay I came second and I had McVeigh and Franklin that didnt play through suspension. But they should be back next week so you should all be scared of Kotsaz Squad come round 4!!

Well done Fatcat, I was happy being over 2100 first round, was cruising until sunday were I was let down by Gia, Bazza, Tippet but I have to expect that with these guys, NDS and Penddles both carried good tags as well which hurt, will start Hitchcock over Gumby this week too, happy with the rest of the team, only descision this week is whether to start Shuey (at subi) over Trengove (pies)???

i have 2 teams in 5 dif leagues... atm the are exactly teh same, but come season proper they will differentiate as I'll be trading or not trading based on who I'm playing that week and if I have to.. I care not for the $50,000, I just want to win and there are really only 2 leagues I want to win in... My church league on one account and my work league on my other.

Haha Fatcat, My "wife" was originally planning to enter after round 2 to make a "Ute squad" but after reading the fine print and seeing that you have to have as full team in before round 1 to be eligible for the Ute she has decided not to bother.

Well done indeed Div A... I was fairly happy with my score considering I had Judd and Gray on the bench so whoever I am playing in Round 1, watch out!!!
