Team Draft 36
As you can see Im in panic mode with the res ruck @ 159k but if I slide Tippet FORW using the MPP rule it could pay off. Those in blue are the injury concerns so please suggest someone better, but I am thinking I could carry a Burgoyne or Waite (Tippet MPP)for the first few rounds on the bench but its a high risk play. Looking for some honest opinions now. League win only Forget the rooks till after NAB (starting 3 in the MID's!). Upgrade targets would be a dropping Goodes, Rok, J Brown. Sound like a plan

Re: Team Draft 36
A good mentality to take into supercoach every year is to have complete confidence in your ruck stocks no matter what. It is good to have a good bench for any position but with your rucks if you play your cards right you should be able to pick two ruckman that play between 21 - 22 games. I do like your selections in Sandi and Tippet they both are strong preformers and arn't know to have any serious injury concerns at this stage. I would try looking for more of a rookie ruck someone such as Matthew Lobe whos name you might of seen floating around. Also Wade Skipper is an intresting one, just sit tight on him for now and check if he gets a run in the NAB cup this week.

Got Lobbe there in the forward bench as MPP swappable with Tippet Roachy

Re: Team Draft 36
Tony73,
Like your team very much, one of the best i have seen Another one for your ruck bench is Jackson Trengove from port (100k). Keep an eye on Waite, if fit he is a bargain & being a MPP makes him valuable. Overall, nice work, kudos on putting together a solid team.

Re: Team Draft 36
Cheers Dav but one of your posts has me thinking about starting 3 mid rookies! Either Scully or Bastnic
That allows me to upgrade Sheppard to Hurn and leave me with Hunt number 7 back. Thats almost a lock back 7
I guess it could come down to if Sheppard looks a starter!

Re: Team Draft 36
Personally I would like to see Warnock instead of Charman on the bench, saves 20k not that great but Warnock will have a big role this year seeing as Kreuzer will be playing a lot in the forward line to cover fevola going. Also not only is Charman coming back from a lenghy time out but he was never a good supercoach player.

"I WILL NOT POST ANY OF MY PICKS FOR 2010, AND DONT TRY TO GET IT OUT OF ME I WILL RELEASE MY TEAM AFTER RD3 INCLUDING RUCKS. BEWARE THOSE THAT HAVE A SIMILAR TEAM". Ring any bells tony?

Re: Team Draft 36
i thought charman for a while too in the ruck but in reality voss will look to Leuenberger as the 2nd ruckman behid clark this year. barring injury don't think Charman will play a lot, then again injury and lions ruckman go hand in hand. Don't think a lions ruckman has played more than 17 games in the history of the club, (bar Clark last year)

Was never going to hapen Pear, I was kiding myself
Fatcat if I hae to grab Warnock it will just put cash in the bank.
Both CHarman and Lurenburg were the start of my rotten Rucks last year

Re: Team Draft 36
Just trying the posting of my team as others do through paint, Have made a few changes, notably 3 starting mid rookies and nearly a locked backline, and maybe Gray instead of Buddy, thoughts? I recon Im real close now!

Re: Team Draft 36
like the team.
really strong backs. hearing hurn might get tagged off half back like gilbee did last year. the most expensive back in goddard i see.
gray set to play more mid so a good option.
agree with fatcat on warnock. more upside than charman.
hope for you and me that sandi doesn't go down like the rest of your rucks from last year.
