Maybe this isn't the week for Capt GaJ?
Well we know that last year Joseph help Ablett to sub 80 scores BOTH games last year...
Do you think maybe this week would be the time to change Captains?
Apart from GaJ I have:
Pav v Richmond (or Barlow )
Hodge v Nth Melboure
Goddard v Pt Adelaide
Cooney v Adelaide
Brown v Melbourne
Pendles v Essendon (?)
Or just stick it out with GaJ
It's really only for my other team, as my main account has an easy game in my main league (the one I am concentrating on winning).
This one is mainly for bragging rights at work my opponent was last years champ, and he is full of himself.. Also he doesn't have GaJ..
Any help appreciated.. this is now where my two teams begin to differentiate

Hodge and Goddard looking in fine form. Goddard moving up forward to cover Roo isn't hurting his scores so seems a good pick. Hodge returning to premiership form.

Tough one, my opponent in my main league is a top contender who does not have GAJ. Its an each way bet, could pay off for me or do I just match him with say a Goddard selection, he's probably the only one I would back in for a 140+ score.
I am leaning to backing GAJ as knowing how he prides himself on perfection he will want to turn that Carlton record around.
Also I am willing to caugh up the 4pts this week to my opponent and save trades as well!

brown vs melbourne would be a fairly good bet - anyone think he won't kick more than 7 this week?

mmm I tend to think many are underestimating the Demons attack on the ball, and their Backline are jelling together quite well!
In saying that watching Browns tank in the last quartr was awesome last week!

It is really hard to go against GAJ.
I did it a couple of rounds last season and both times I got bitten.

If you have GAJ you just pick him.
Roo has burnt people this year.
ROK has burnt people this year.
Brown is a key forward remember, he is very very likely to get 120+ against the Dee's but on the same token the Brisbane mids will have a lot more room and may just by pass him to Fev or even take shots themselves.
GAJ has the best average in the comp.

really any of Goddard, Hodge, Pavlich or Brown looks good
but GAJ would be a safe bet. I can see Pavlich and Brown kicking
bags of goals this week.

just to clarify my previous comment if I was going to change it would be brown for me.
However if I had GAJ he would certainly be getting the C - thats what you bought him for.

Apparently ablett is bad against fremantle, so he pulls a 159 out of his arse. Go against him if you dare.

I reckon Pav would be a better option, the way Sandilands plays as a big ruckman gets him 110's maybe 120's but I think Pav is most likely to pull out a 150. Plus pav is in ridiculous form right now, providing you have him.

Too bad it didn't make up for the rest of my poor scores.. I'm not even gonna post up the individual 'Uglies' as it was an overall crapness really!!

I had GAJ as capt, my opponent in another league doesn't even have him and I'm still down by 200+ points.

Do you think Joseph will get Montagna as my opponent has him?

After Abletts 203, its puts to rest the claims that Ablett should not be a permanent captain lock.
