I would be interested to hear a reply to that Damien from someone that saw the game (I dont have foxtel ) If people think he's the real deal, I might trade Cooney and Griffen for Swan and Barlow in the mids. That would make 3 1st year starters in mids with Martin, Shuey or Bastinac, Moles and Ablett, Selwood my premiums. Interested in feedback on that.

I would certainly be getting on him if i don't have him however i wouldn't do it this week. His price wont rise until AFTER round 3 so you can watch him for one more game then pounce. BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU TRADE OUT TO GET HIM. I wouldn't be jumping off Bastinac too quick as he was impressive.

shuey and bastinac weren't that bad. don't think they should be traded out since they are just rookies.

as bonnie said, after round 3 is when the prices change. maybe if you want some cash for upgrades later, downgrade 1 of griffen or cooney to him. keep swan as an upgrade target later in the year. no point trading out a potential premium for another premium this early on.

Thanks BD Thirds. I will wait another week. I currently have in my mids Ablett, Selwood, Cooney, Griffen, Martin, Shuey, Bastinac, Moles. The trade I am proposing is Cooney (87) and Griffen(66) out for Swan (145) and Barlow(151) in. I just dont want to jump off the doggy boys too early if Barlow is a flash in the pan. Sounds like alot of people had good weeks! I had my highest ever at 2453. Woohoo!

Word on the street is that the Majority of the Dogs were coming down with flu like symptons before and during the game..

SC17, In all honesty mate those trades would be disgusting. The bulldogs boys (Griffen and Cooney) must be looked at as keepers. They will get much better scores against lesser sides. I actually really like your midfield, Not the best performance this week but still a good group of quality players. The trade i would be looking at from your perspective is Moles to Barlow but i still wouldn't do it this week. Hold all trades this week and watch one more game then come back to us and we will work something out.

agree with bonnie here no point using a trade to trade a keeper to a rookie even if he did get a great score this week. if you have moles he will be the one to trade after the second week, don't do it now, do it when 3rd round teams are named you'd kick yourslef if you traded and he was injured or something.

He now has the record for the most possesions in a debut game with 33 passing Dalziell last year when he got 32. And the good thing about Barlow is that he averaged 30 possesions against men in the VFL so we all know he can keep it up and at 111,000 he is going to be the next Broughton next year!

I agree if you had to it would be Moles, but you should maybe just look at it as an opportunuty already lost. Everyone new Moles wouldn't play and most new how good Barlow could be. i dont recon he is a one hit muston type, they both played very diferent games on debut. Muston got alot of outside posi's crossing both 50's where Barlow was very Swan like racking the clearances up around Sandi

Talking of Dogs what about a Gia to Ziebel trade after rd 2, I know Gia needs to be looked at as a keeper but he was very average, if ziebels going to avarage higher it would also put over 100k in the bank before price changes!

My team is fairly set to not have to trade for the standard 6-8 rounds pending injury but one or maybe even two before the price changes may be warranted for cash purposes.

never knew you had moles SC17. i retract my earlier post to downgrade one of the doggies. moles i doubt can crack the dogs 22 on a weekly basis, so an easy choice to barlow next week if he keeps it up.
