The season i had
OK so i had an alright week 2130, winning 3 out of 3 major gfs (one by 16points), and 3 1sts at the end of the h&a season. So i want to know how everyone scored, and how many premierships u won

Dang Tony v good!!
scored about 2150, give or take, won 2/5, runner up in 2/5. Good thing was, the 2 I won were my 'main' leagues, basically meaning, when I made my trades, it was for either of those leagues

One thing I was wondering what makes a good starting team as my first team wasn't vg so I could hVe done better. Next year I want to be pullin really good scores like some of the regulars do. Does anyone go on in the offseason?

Not really mate goes pretty quiet until rookie drafts and pre-season.
My strategy was quite simple, I picked the best player in each zone, Goddard, Gaj, Sandi, Riewolt. They were the must haves and will be close to the must haves next year (maybe Swan instead of GAJ). Many will say they are too much and they will pick them up cheap into the season but remember it costs a trade and in most instances two (double trade for cash) Each trade is worth a minimum of 100-200k so you arnt getting them cheap!
I then looked at two premiums in each zone (keepers) Pendles, Dalsanto, Hodge, Enright, Buddy, Pav, Gia, from there cheap injury returns, Hunt, Waters, Ladson, Waite. Then of course the rookies, started 5 in the midfield Martin, Trengove, Barlow, Shuey, Jetta. Only two forward and two back as they were slim pickings to play rd 1, fill in the gaps with the best you can with what cash you have left and Bob your uncle!
Simple strategy hey

Thanks I would have done better this year but my team in rd1 was not strong at all (had polak and Jamison) How much starting cash should I have at rd 1?

Re: The season i had
Thats debatable and up to personal preference, for me I put as much cash as I could on the field to win a few early games and left just enough cash for an early upgrade where needed, between 100-200k. This is perfect for upgrading a dud midpricer you have picked thats going to drop a heap early!

Re: The season i had
Nicely done you guys. Especially Tony .
Well, I improved my average off last year to average 2120 .
But only good enough for a ranking of 32k odd .
I don't really mind. I improved off last year which is all I wanted. Last bit of the year killed me. Forward donuts everywhere . Most I had was 4 forwards out in 1 week .
