Perhaps it's come to the point where GAJ ISN'T auto-capt anymore.. suggestions?

I know I am definitely thinking about Goddard or Hodge as capt.

Jack Riewoldt will never be a good captain option. Hodge/Goddard are proving better than ablett.

Re: GAJ ...
the only advantage that GAJ had was that he almost never scored below 100 and almost always over 120-130. Hasn't been as consistent this year and seems a little unhappy with his role in the team at present.
Others have lifted this year with Goddard building on last year and hodge getting back to his 08 form and maybe even better. Add in chapman and Pav and there are certainly a fair few options out there.
Having said that, I don't have GAJ at present and every week I debate who to put in. GAJ saves you this worry as he will almost never come up with a 60-70 that some others can. He still offers reliability but the gap is closing very very quickly.
It will be interesting to see how he goes post mid season break, I may not choose to bring him in. Tough choiices

Barlow, that sounds like a great trade up. Got the trades which is handy.
