They wont do that all in one week Charlo, I don't fully understand it but i can assure you Barlow wont jump by $363k in one week.

Yeah bonnie with he Barlow one, what he is trying to say is if Barlow manages to score 145 this week his price will rice to $474,000 which is highly unlikely, that will smash supercoach records!!! haha

Re: Projected Price Rises
yeah he would have to score at least 145 to go up that
much but it is still possible.

Re: Projected Price Rises
I'l have to follow up on that as i am sure i have had this convo before and was under the impression that it works differently in the first 3 rounds. Even if he gets 145 i don't think he will go up by $363k in one week. I could be wrong but il follow it up...

Re: Projected Price Rises
My understanding of that calculator is that he will rise by 100k next week and will then go up by 100k a week for the next three weeks thereafter, hitting 400k by round 6. Assuming of course that he averages 145 over the next 4 weeks. Make sense?

Re: Projected Price Rises
bonnie and TH are correct.
should barlow continue his current average over the next 3 weeks he will rise in price in the following pattern
after week 3 - $160,100 to $271,500
after week 4 - $115,500 to $387,000
after week 5 - $87,800 to $474,800
he won't rise it all in one week. Still quite extraordinary if he managed it however personally i don't think this will happen. He's scored well against an underdone adelaide and an unaccountable essendon.
next two weeks are Geelong and the Saints, won't be posting those big scores purely from a factor that Freo won't score as high a percentage of the total points on offer against those teams, no side does.
Don't get me wrong he looks good and will still score ok and I am glad to have him in my side however think his scores at least over the next two weeks will be more likely 80's rather than 140.
having said that week after plays richmond so could come back with a big one

Re: Projected Price Rises
yep, all the price rises that Charlo put up are the 3 round movements. That is, what a player is expected to be worth after round 5 assuming they maintain their current average. Thanks for that though Charlo, saves me trawling through all that info.

Re: Projected Price Rises
i'm sure its been posted before (but maybe not this year).
If you're not using it get on it http://www.freewebs.com/ffgenie/
does the same job as tooserious but a bit faster to navigate
just an FYI i use both and cross check one for the other as ffgenie can go a bit wrong if a player starts but gets injured early and has a 0 although with a bit of a code re-write you can get around this (not worth the hassle when tooserious manages is for you).
