Both these players have injury concerns and are 50/50 to play
this week.

You need to name a source Charlo, you will notice not many will even bother with this post unless there is a decent source, so far I have read one other dodgy report on another forum who said it was reported on 10, and I have seen him on tv training with tube grip on his calf!

Yeah it was reported on Channel 10 news at 5pm that he was 50/50. They are one of the worst sources for "accurate" football info unfortunately. By the time sports tonight came on they had toned it down significantly.

GAJ is the most talked about player in supercoach and as usual the newbies will jump on any little chance that he might be out. Being a Monday game and against a serious contender (Hawthorn) i am confident he will play.

I have no doubt there have been a few media reports, they love a good story, all well and good but if you saw it Charlo, was it Bomber, live, stating he is 50/50 or a reporter that has just seen him with tube on a calf.

There's a big diference between an official media release and reporter speculation for a story on GAJ.

When its made official and all the regular sources pick up on it then my ears will prick up as I monitor most of them, until then theres no point in stewing over the unknown in forums posts

ablett isn't really injured. just a little calf strain. shouldn't miss since he has 5 days to get fit.

it was shown on fox sports as well but he was still kicking the ball around and stuff. just took it a little easy.

there are advantages to living in the ALF black hole that is Brisbane sometimes, I don't have to get caught up in all the made up shambolic reporting that happens when a cities media is completely focused on one thing and will create anything they want in order to get a better story than the other.

unfortunately the side affect is only one opinion on anything and no footy shows on tv (don't have foxtel)

but not sure how he will play as he was named in the forward pocket.
