Does Hurley deserve a start
Does Hurley warrant a start ahead of
Gilbee v Cats
Gilbert
even Hodge !!!
My opponent will start him for Dempsy and has none of the above!

I would say yes, but going by wulf's post then don't start him ahead of those 2 and hope he bums.
I would take a look at both your backlines, if you think you have the superior back then dont start Hurley, if you think you dont start him so as to neutralize him

Rookie vs experienced players, take a gamble if you want but I would stick with gilbee

Gilbee as gotten alot of attention this year with teams seeing that he is the dogs GAMEBREAKER. Don't expect geelong to let him run freely though. Pear is right, Rookie vs Experience Player is a no brainer thats why i choose mundy instead of hurley for the past few weeks now. Hurley could be looking for big points against freo but they are playing at subi. With freo with no real forwards other than pav and now mayne, hurley will likely either get mayne (if pears goes to pav) or play on a lesser known guy (this means who knows who he will get). I know that didn't really answer your question but gave you more to think about. My friends say i do that alot in general .
As an essendon supporter i am the future of the club in the coming years with guys like hurley coming through.

88pts, 100% efficiency from 13 disposals, I will take that! Imajine if he got 5 or 6 more touches with that efficiency! Now just need hulrey to take it easy this week
