Ballentyne?

Hey guys roachie here... Unfortunatly due to a bust weekend i missed the Collingwood v Fremantal game so i was wondering if anyone can give me an insight into hayden ballentynes game. He has only managed 9 points after a very big build up so jsut looking for some info to post about him in the weeks rookies page.

from what i saw he struggled a bit with disposal effeciency, got caught with the ball once or twice. Had to head down the ground a lot for his grabs.

No doubt he suffered from first game nerves but there were some good signs. He kept presenting all day - making 50 metre + leads but was let down by poor kicks or being ignored. Dropped a couple of marks he would normally take also.Harry O'Brien played very close attention to him all day so obviously the pies had done their homework & knew how dangerous he can be. Playing at home this week so would expect a big improvement from him. Dockers will give him some time to find his feet so give him a few weeks & I think he will start to show he can be a quality AFL player.
