Which Premium
Hi all..well my team is not what i wanted and the fact that a few players have gone missing ..i'd sure like your help i just cant decide to make the changes i need too..1 i've never had o'keefe in a team and this year i did , but now i might need the money..so i need to know whether to go with o'Keefe or Pavlich up front ..2 Shaw or Hurn up back ..i think i can make it work what ever the outcome...your help is needed..specially Bonnie Doon's..next best thing to tha Roach i reckon!!
If i go with Roachies guns that would be Pavlich cos O'keefe isn't in his top 10...i really need a forward Premium other than Riewoldt whom i have already...if u guys can help be appreciated ....

Re: Which Premium
Hey mate...
It's a really close one between the two so i would play it out like this...... If you get pavlich and save money to upgrade another spot then by all means choose pav. As i feel pavlich can score just as well as o'keefe for 22 rounds. although in saying that if your money saved doesn't quite make a good upgrade then you should stick with O'keefe as he is sydneys best plays apart from goodes. Also i feel O'keefe will take on more of a midfield role then HF this year as they might try goodes CHF which could boosts his points.
I did a litte quick research for ya.... and these are the averages from both players over the last few years
Pav
2005 : 111
2006 : 108
2007 : 115
2008 : 110
2009 : 98
ROK
2005 : 94
2006 : 108
2007 : 96
2008 : 103
2009 : 108
It looks like a hard one hope this helps mate.
Cheers Roachie

Re: Which Premium
An interesting one, to very good players that is for sure. I believe you should go pav definetly, only averaged under 100 once in the past 5 and that was last years 98. Sydney players are awesome upgrade targets come mid-season because they always drop first half and pick up the pace second half. Plus 50k and if you have nowhere to spend it just keep it, don't spend it on rok just because you can. If the prices were switched I would still go Pav.

Re: Which Premium
You should definetly chose pav as he will play a
centre half forward role this year which will boost
his scoring. Is more consistent than Rok.

Re: Which Premium
i'm going to say ROK
after round 6 (thats when he moved full time into the mids) he averaged 118.13 per game and that includes the end of the year where he played with a shoulder injury.
between round 7 and 16 he was averaging 134 before hi got his shoulder injury.
with goodes in the fwds now rok will tear it up this year

Re: Which Premium
I am going to say choose BOTH & forget Hurn.
Better options between $25000 - $495000 then Hurn.
Good Luck

Re: Which Premium
o`keefe was 50,000 more expensive thought. A lot of money
for only 6 points different. Like anyone would bother is they got for
example 2,301 instead of 2,307!

Re: Which Premium
I highly doubt there will be much between rok and pav this year, I reckon they will be within a 5 points avg. I believe pav will do better

Re: Which Premium
think that was a little tongue in cheek from Bonnie there.
good early signs for both, I for one will be interested in how pav goes over the next few weeks especially with freo playing stk and cats in weeks 3 and 4.
at the end of the day i will probably have both in by the end of the year. just thought pav would start slower this year.

Re: Which Premium
Rok is one that I will snap up if he drops below 500k, doesn't look that likely at the moment however
