Xavier Ellis

Hey, anyone got an opinion on X. Ellis, hawks will probably do well this year wonder if he is worth picking up?

Ellis was the 3rd backman i choose for my team and most of the people i communicate with think that he is going to have a break out season averaged 74 SC points a game last yr..he's had heaps of trouble in past with pre-season injuries so if he can get thru this pre season he'll definately be one to be considered...

I'd pick him or birchall to have a break out year. with gibson coming in might free him up a bit more. pretty good kick (not great) and tackles every now and again.

got birchall in atm as alot of people will likely jump on ellis.

I believe Ellis is a little risky. With Shonemoakers (not sure how to spell it), Birchall, Gilham, Gibson and Ladson all pushing for selection, it may be hard for Ellis to play consistently

If gilham, ladson, birchall, gibson and ellis all play back, who else is in there backline and if there is too many could ellis push up to a running half back or mid or maybe a winger?

think thats what schoey might be doing this year. or is he just playing croad's old role?
gilham, gibson and birchall will likely stay back. gibson might go into tagging maybe even.
if ladson and ellis play, one of them might be that kind of guy. not sure on that yet.
